Finastra Sells Universal Banking to Pollen Street for Focus on Payments and Lending

Finastra sold its Universal Banking core banking business to Pollen Street. The deal transfers UB's global cloud-first platform Essence to Pollen Street, which will fund AI-driven innovation and customer delivery. UB serves over 150 institutions across 100+ countries and will operate independently under existing leadership.
