Tesla Robotaxis Face Ban in New Jersey

A New Jersey bill would require fully autonomous vehicles to use cameras plus two additional sensor types, effectively banning Tesla's camera-only Robotaxis. Tesla urged customers to oppose the bill. Rivals Waymo and Zoox already use radar and LiDAR. Tesla's Robotaxi service operates only in Texas and Florida.
