Microsoft Takes Down AI Phishing Platform

Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit obtained authorization from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia to take down infrastructure tied to an AI-enabled cybercrime platform. The service used AI tools to turn stolen corporate network access into fraud opportunities, Microsoft said this morning. The takedown cuts off key infrastructure for financially motivated hackers already exploiting existing AI tools.
