Security researcher Ryan Dewhurst reports that attackers are exploiting a maximum-severity vulnerability, CVE-2026-102255, in SonicWall SMA1000 appliances. While SonicWall patched the flaw on Tuesday, Dewhurst stated his honeypot network detected exploitation attempts on Friday targeting the WorkPlace Extraweb interface. Shadowserver currently tracks more than 400 exposed SMA1000 appliances online.
