China approves first L3 autonomous driving vehicles

China's MIIT approved the first batch of L3 autonomous driving vehicles for market access. Changan's SC7000AAARBEV sedan handles congested urban roads at 50 km/h. Arcfox's BJ7001A61NBEV sedan operates on highways at 80 km/h. Pilot operations begin in Beijing and Chongqing.
