Cody Wilson's Defense Distributed created "Hochulization," a tool that alters file hashes to bypass New York's mandated 3D printer gun-blocking software. The tool adds bytes to files, changing hashes without affecting printed gun function. Wilson plans to apply it to DEFCAD's 200,000 files and make it open source.
