UK AI adoption triples but remains shallow

A new ONS survey shows UK business AI adoption rose from 12% to 35% since 2023, but the average adopter uses only 1.6 AI tools. Large language models lead at 18% of firms. Just 7% of UK organisations pursue an enterprise-wide AI strategy, and only 12% report revenue growth from AI.
