Meta appointed Kunal Shah as WhatsApp's new global CEO, replacing Will Cathcart, who led the app since 2019. Meta invested $900 million in Shah's fintech startup CRED, valuing it at $4.5 billion. Shah will report to Chief Product Officer Chris Cox.
