Garmin Rumored to Buy Moxy Monitor

Garmin has reportedly acquired Moxy Monitor, a maker of muscle oxygen sensors used by elite athletes, according to the5krunner. The deal is unconfirmed; Garmin has not commented. If true, future Garmin wearables could add SmO2 readings, requiring new hardware since wrist-based measurement is not possible. Rival Whoop has patented its own SmO2 strap.
