Peter Ryseck built a drone to balance a pole vertically, using triple 5-inch propellers after 10-inch blades proved too sluggish. A standard quadcopter control board handles the avionics. The flexible pool fishing net pole added instabilities, and the solution lets the pole lean into the wind.
