AirPods finally gain custom EQ feature in iOS 26

Apple announced a custom equalizer for AirPods at WWDC 2026, part of the fall OS updates. The feature lets users adjust sound signature, like boosting bass or treble, for the first time. It arrives with iOS 27 and macOS 27 Golden Gate this fall.
