Cloudflare Launches Disallow AI Training Setting

Cloudflare announced a new Disallow AI Training setting, allowing website owners to block AI training crawlers while remaining indexed for search. The feature addresses the tradeoff where refusing AI training often meant losing search visibility. Apple, Google, and Microsoft have committed to honoring the setting. Cloudflare also introduced an Accountable designation for bot operators meeting transparency and opt-out requirements.
