Amazon Cuts Retail Jobs During Prime Sale

Amazon confirmed on Wednesday that it cut fewer than 1,000 office jobs within its Stores division during Prime Big Deal Days on October 6 and 7. The reductions affected customer service and selling partner services across the US, India, and UK, following a larger round of 30,000 cuts in 2025 and 2026.
