Taurus co-founder Lamine Brahimi states banks require their own permissioned ledgers, wallet tools, and smart-contract capabilities to connect to Swift's new blockchain-based ledger. HSBC, Standard Chartered, DBS, and Citi have completed live transactions on the system. Swift announced in July that 17 banks were preparing for these live tokenized-deposit transactions.
