EPF Wage Ceiling Hike to Boost EDLI Cover

The Indian government has approved raising the Employees' Provident Fund wage ceiling from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000. This is expected to increase the maximum insurance cover under the Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10.50 lakh.
