Cisco Unveils Open AI Network Gear

Cisco Systems Inc. announced new open AI infrastructure products at the Open Compute Project Global Summit in San Jose. The company launched USFP optics, Silicon One G300 systems, and the G302 chip. Cisco also introduced Live Protect for SONiC, targeting second quarter 2027 availability to reduce vulnerability exploitation time from nine months to roughly 10 hours.
