BYD's Second-Gen Seagull Grows Up

BYD previewed the second-generation Seagull, its roughly $10,000 EV, with a larger, more upscale design. The new model, called the Great Seagull, is 425 mm longer with a 150 mm longer wheelbase and a 95 kW motor. It goes on sale in China by the end of 2026, with overseas launch expected.
