Google Tests New Gemini Sidebar Layout
2 min read
Google quietly reworks the Gemini app sidebar in version 17.73.15, moving the New chat button to the bottom for one-handed use. The update removes the account switcher and adds a Shortcuts section to the You tab, allowing users to erase the last 30 minutes of history. A new overlay animation also features a glow effect across the bottom edges.
