Mod brings classic iPods into 2026
2 min read
A new open-source project called Sprout Pico and Sprout Pi allows owners to update 3rd- and 4th-generation iPods and iPod minis with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB-C support. Built from Raspberry Pi boards, these mods add up to 2TB of storage and Spotify streaming without requiring soldering, offering a reversible way to revive obsolete hardware for modern users.
