Amazon is requiring third-party sellers to label product images and videos containing AI-generated people, following a New York law that took effect last month mandating disclosure of synthetic performers in ads. The policy applies to photorealistic AI-generated people but excludes TV, video game, and movie characters. Amazon will add an indicator to listings where applicable.
