Huawei and HP Inc. signed a multiyear global patent cross-licensing agreement covering certain Huawei Wi-Fi patents, announced Aug. 26. The deal grants HP access to specified Huawei Wi-Fi technologies and gives Huawei reciprocal patent rights from HP, with no hardware or joint commercial project included.
