Magna CEO cites tariff uncertainty; GM bets on grid batteries

Magna International CEO Swamy Kotagiri said uncertainty is the single biggest challenge complicating manufacturing decisions. New-vehicle inventories stayed largely flat at 2.89 million, according to data firm Catalyst IQ, continuing a trend of keeping stocks near or below 3 million.
