Meta's standalone AI app added a For You section that populates AI-generated clickbait stories. Topics, images, and text are all created by AI, producing questionable content like a royal butler settling the milk first debate. Meta said it would pull the feature after The Verge asked questions about it. The app originally launched in April 2025 with a public Discover feed that has since disappeared.
