Stripe and Advent International offered $60.50 per share in cash for PayPal, valuing the company at over $53 billion with about $50 billion in committed financing. The bid represents a 28% premium over PayPal's Tuesday closing price. PayPal has not responded to the offer, which follows an initial approach in early April.
