A faulty SmartThings update pushed to Samsung Bespoke AI 4-Door Refrigerators in South Korea caused units to shut down entirely, losing refrigeration and interior lights. Samsung paused the update and will send engineers, but bookings are only available after Chuseok, on Saturday, September 26. Users are resorting to dry ice and ice boxes as food spoils.
