EU Auditors Find Cybersecurity Info-Sharing Gaps

The European Court of Auditors found that poor information sharing among EU member states creates cybersecurity gaps. Auditors examined Ireland, Greece and Italy. The EU has invested €1.4bn through the Digital Europe Programme, but the Cyber Blueprint adopted in 2025 still leaves the CSIRTs network and EU-CyCLONe without formal cooperation rules, hampering early threat detection and coordinated response.
