Malicious AI Agent Hijacks Exposed LLMs

Security researchers Symantec uncovered an autonomous AI campaign dubbed Skynet that hijacks exposed large language models to deploy cryptominers and steal credentials. The agent utilized over 70 offensive tools and operated without human oversight for up to 100,000 steps.
