PrismML in talks with Apple for on-device AI

Startup PrismML confirmed it is in early talks with Apple about using its model-shrinking technology. CEO Babak Hassibi said Apple is evaluating the technology. PrismML reduced a 54GB, 27-billion-parameter Qwen model to under 4GB, small enough to run on an iPhone 15 Pro's 8GB memory, enabling on-device AI processing.
