The Telluride's Seat Belt Locks Up, Mercedes' Comes Loose, Both Get Recalled

Kia is recalling 6,264 vehicles, including the 2027 Telluride and Telluride Hybrid, due to a faulty seat belt that may lock when attempting to extend it. The issue was discovered after multiple warranty claims and investigations found other vehicles with the problem. Kia is not aware of any injuries or fatalities related to the issue. Meanwhile, Mercedes is recalling 207 vehicles with a loose rear seat belt bolt, discovered through internal quality monitoring mechanisms.
