Amazon Web Services said it is unable to restore service to cloud-computing facilities in Bahrain and parts of the UAE, more than six months after drone strikes damaged the sites. The company stated the damage exceeded what its services are designed to withstand. AWS advised customers to move workloads to other regions and warned of continued instability in the Middle East.
