Toolpak Proposes New Developer Tool Format

A new proposal called Toolpak outlines a format for distributing developer utilities on image-based Linux systems. It uses Discoverable Disk Images with Verity security, a mount namespace splitting /usr and /app, and bundles all dependencies so tools like strace, ripgrep and qemu run unrestricted without breaking the host OS.
