UPI Transactions Fall in September 2026

The National Payments Corporation of India reports that UPI transactions fell 1.8% to 24.07 billion in September 2026, with total value slipping to Rs 29.37 lakh crore. This marks a decline from August figures of 24.51 billion transactions worth Rs 29.82 lakh crore, though volume remains 22.6% higher than September 2025.
