Trump proposes U.S. stake in AI companies

President Trump proposed the U.S. government taking a small ownership stake in AI giants, calling it a partnership with the American public that would share in the upside of trillion-dollar companies. Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that the arrangement would make the American people partners and would be a beautiful thing. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has pushed this idea with the Trump administration over the past year.
