Six Flags installs largest US solar carport
2 min read
Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia installed a 12.37-megawatt solar carport on November 1, 2023, developed with Solar Optimum. The 637,000-square-foot canopy shades 4,315 parking spaces and includes 109 EV charging connectors. The system stores 8 MWh of energy and is expected to generate 20.8 million kilowatt-hours annually to offset the park's power use.
