A Tesla Semi was involved in its first known fatal crash on U.S. 50 in Dayton, Nevada, killing two people in a Volkswagen Beetle. The driver reportedly fell asleep before rear-ending vehicles stopped at a red light. The victims were Sergio and Jennifer Villanueva.
