Blizzard Confirms Diablo 5 Shows Diablo's Conquest

Blizzard confirmed at BlizzCon 2026 that Diablo 5 is in development, set after Diablo has already conquered Sanctuary and rules from Westmarch's throne. Senior game director Joe Shely said the victory will not happen entirely off-screen, and narrative director Jennifer Hepler said the player's bond with Diablo unfolds across the story. It launches Spring 2029.
