Cursor 0day Exploits Git Binary Execution

A critical vulnerability in Cursor allows arbitrary code execution by placing a malicious git.exe in a repository root. Cursor executes it automatically with no user interaction. Mindgard disclosed the bug on December 15, 2025. After seven months and 197+ versions, Cursor has not patched it.
