Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency established a dedicated investigative unit to probe cybercrime and financial fraud linked to cryptocurrency. FIA Counter-Terrorism Wing Director Muhammad Athar Waheed recommended other agencies create similar units. PVARA, created in July 2025, handles digital asset regulation and has licensed Binance and HTX.
