Starknet Votes to Become Post Quantum L1

Starknet opened a vote to transform from an Ethereum L2 into a post quantum L1 after fears that AI could break elliptic curve cryptography. StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson stated Ethereum's roadmap is too slow, noting more than 99% of votes cast favor the move. The token lost almost 50% in value this week following a recent surge.
