Skyroot Aerospace launched India's first privately developed orbital rocket, the Vikram-1. The 24-meter, four-stage booster uses solid propellant in the first three stages and a liquid-fueled final stage for precise orbit insertion. India becomes the third country with a private company capable of orbital launches.
