Nextcloud exposed an ElasticSearch cluster with ~367,000 records (8GB) of employee data, client contracts, and scripts. The unencrypted data included staff emails and client company details. Nextcloud secured the archive within two days, attributing the incident to a hosting misconfiguration while stressing customer servers were unaffected.
