Mercedes-AMG GLE and GLS gain upgraded 627bhp V8

Mercedes-AMG upgraded the flagship GLE and GLS SUVs with the new flat-plane-crank twin-turbo V8 engine. The mild-hybrid M117 Evo powerplant produces 604bhp, with an additional 23bhp from a 48V starter-generator. Both SUVs accelerate from 0-62mph in under four seconds and reach 174mph.
