GR3N raises €15.5M for microwave PET recycling plant

Swiss cleantech GR3N secured €15.5M to build the world's first microwave-powered PET recycling plant. The facility will process 85% of PET waste currently unrecyclable. The plant, MODUS, will handle 40,000 tons per year in Spain. GR3N's MADE technology breaks down all PET types without feedstock limits. It cuts CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to virgin PET production.
