Salary must be paid before 7th under new labour code

The Code on Wages, 2019 requires employers to pay salaries before the 7th of each month. Employees can access legal assistance if an employer delays or makes unauthorized deductions. Total deductions cannot exceed a statutory ceiling. Final dues after resignation or termination must be paid within 2 working days.
