Samsung Wallet Adds Fingerprint UPI Payments in India

Samsung has enabled fingerprint authentication for UPI payments in Samsung Wallet on compatible Galaxy phones in India. The feature, live for a few weeks, was officially announced today with the transaction limit raised from INR 5,000 to INR 10,000. Users can now authorize payments with a registered fingerprint instead of entering a UPI PIN, speeding up checkout and reducing shoulder-surfing risk.
