EU Says Apple Alone Chose Not to Launch Siri AI

The European Commission stated Apple alone decided not to launch Siri AI in the EU. Apple requested a blanket exemption from Digital Markets Act interoperability obligations instead of developing a compliant solution. Commission spokesperson Thomas Regnier said Apple failed to meet EU privacy and security standards.
