Microsoft quiets Windows 11 Widgets by default

Microsoft is rolling out a "quiet by default" overhaul to Windows 11 Widgets in Beta Preview Build 26220.8680. The update disables Open on Hover and Taskbar badging, restricts daily taskbar alerts, and shows only the weather widget on the lock screen. Badges now match the accent color instead of always appearing red.
