The China-linked Warlock ransomware group successfully breached a water utility, telecom provider, government body, and university by exploiting vulnerabilities in SharePoint. The threat actor gained initial access using ToolShell exploits, deploying Warlock ransomware against at least 33 hosts in one intrusion.
