China's SAMR opened a case and launched an investigation into Qualcomm over its acquisition of V2X chipmaker Autotalks. The probe suspects a violation of China's Anti-Monopoly Law due to an alleged failure to file a concentration of undertakings. Qualcomm disclosed the deal in May 2023 and completed it on June 6, 2024.
