Anthropic Ships Claude Fable 5 With Safety Split

Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, its most capable public model, alongside Claude Mythos 5 for vetted cybersecurity users. Fable 5 routes flagged requests to Opus 4.8. Both cost $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens. Fable 5 scored 80.3% on SWE-Bench-Pro, beating GPT-5.5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro.
